Datamonitor Healthcare CV&Met: Systemic Hypertension Market Spotlight

February 14, 2024

Systemic hypertension, also known as high blood pressure, is a condition in which the force of the blood flow against the walls of the arteries is high. High systemic blood pressure usually occurs due to narrowing of the small arteries.

Systemic hypertension is usually asymptomatic, although a minority of patients may present with symptoms such as headaches, dizziness, or blurred vision, particularly if blood pressure is severely elevated. As a result, an individual may not recognize the disease until complications arise.

This Datamonitor Healthcare report contains a Market Spotlight module.
